I don't know if Facebook has ever made the lame to walk.
But it has, beyond all doubt, enabled the dumb to speak.
I saw a report recently, about how gravity, which is a non-renewable resource, is gradually diminishing.
Top scientists agree, "With the present rate of consumption, the earth's supply of gravity will be exhausted before the 22nd century," say several prominent physicists. "There is a direct link between the vanishing of the ozone layer and the decrease in the earth's gravity supply. We're already seeing the effects of the disappearance of the ozone layer, but we're not likely to feel the effects of vanishing gravity during our lifetimes. However, our children will probably have to deal with the issue."
Have you noticed anything fishy about the inspection teams who have arrived in Iraq? They're all men!
How in the name of the United Nations does anyone expect men to find Saddam's stash? We all know that men have a blind spot when it comes to finding things. For crying' out loud! Men can't find the dirty clothes hamper. Men can't find the jar of jelly until it falls out of the cupboard and splatters on the floor.... and these are the people we have sent into Iraq to search for hidden weapons of mass destruction?

Long ago, on New York's lower east side, Mrs. Spinelli and Mrs. Goldberg were bragging as they stood with their friends about their respective abilities to overfeed dinner guests.
With evident pride, Mrs. Spinelli says, "When they walk home from my house, they're all doubled-over."
Without missing a beat, Mrs. Goldberg answers, "From your house, they can walk?"
The discerning eye is a pain in the neck!

A foursome of senior golfers hit the course with waning enthusiasm for the sport.
"These hills are getting steeper as the years go by," one complained.
"These fairways seem to be getting longer too," wheezed a second.
"And somehow, the sand traps seem to be bigger than I remember 'em too," said the third.
Hearing just about enough from his buddies, the oldest and the wisest of the foursome (at 87-years-old) piped up and said,
"Oh my friends, just be thankful we're still on THIS side of the grass!"

The SPCA rescued Maggie from Manitoba's Red River flood in 1996 and brought her to British Columbia where she had two short term owners before becoming a part of the Davis household where she preferred adults over kids, picked and ate fruit from trees in the backyard, and very rarely went into water at the beach.
