My wife yelled from upstairs and asked, "Do you ever get a shooting pain across your body, like someone's got a voodo doll of you and they're stabbing it?"

I replied "No..."

She responded:

"How about now?"

At a local coffee bar, a young woman was expounding on her idea of the perfect mate to some of her friends.

"The man I marry must be a shining light amongst company. He must be musical. Tell jokes. Sing. Entertain. And stay home at night!"

An old granny overheard and spoke up, "Girl, if that's all you want, get a TV!"

Sunday greetings everyone.

I wonder if you would please help me out with a work issue? I am helping a client whose website, months ago, was sometimes redirecting to a gambling site. I fixed the problem, but they are reporting that on their phones the redirect still happens sometimes. I suspect the problem might be with Verizon storing some old information. I need a few people to visit www.lobelvilletn.org and tell me (tim@cybersalt.com) if you see the website for the city of Lobelville in Tennessee or you see a gambling site. I really appreciate any help I get with this test.

For all their lives, my three sons have been told they have to do their chores around the house.

"I am NOT the maid" is a phrase they've heard many times.

When my oldest went off to college, he called me after one week at school. Among the first words he heard at college, he reported, were those of the dormitory maid, announcing to a student who had not picked up after himself in the men's lavatory,

"I am NOT your mother!"

When I was a kid, bedtime was 9pm and I couldn't wait to be a grownup so I could go to bed any time I wanted ... turns out that's 9pm.

It's been discovered that William Tell and his son belonged to a bowling league. But Swiss historians have not been able to determine the name of the league's sponsors. 

So we'll never get to know for whom the Tells bowled.

Because of back problems, each night I lie on the floor and do exercises.

Once when we stopped at a motel, as I started my exercise, something under the bed caught my eye.

It was a card, on which was written, "Yes, we do clean under here, too."

When I was young, one of my life priorities was “My Space.” I defended it with everything I had.

In school, I had to defend “My Space.” Several times, I even had to go to the principal’s office and explain what “My Space” was all about. He didn’t seem to understand, and I had to explain it several times.
