A judge enters the courtroom, strikes the gavel and says,
"Before I begin this trial, I have an announcement to make. The lawyer for the defense has paid me $15,000 to swing the case his way. The lawyer for the plaintiff has paid me $10,000 to swing the case her way. In order to make this a fair trial, I am returning $5,000 to the defense."
My superpower is holding on to stuff for years and throwing it away exactly one week before I need it.
A doctor had just delivered twins. They were a boy and a girl. The head nurse brought them out for their father to see. He could hardly believe his good fortune. The girl baby had a pink blanket wrapped around her and the boy baby was enclosed in a blue blanket.
He took one step forward just so he could touch the babies and believe they had finally arrived. As he started to touch them the nurse took a step backwards and said, "You can't touch those babies. You aren't sterile!"
With out missing a beat, he retorted "You're telling me I'm not sterile!"

Today's video share is a first for me: a video from TikTok. The fellow featured in this video has such an infectious faith that I had to share it with you. However, being on TikTok, the suggested videos that may appear with it on the page may be a bit more edgy than the YouTube videos I share. Consider this an alert about that.

My friend called his car insurance company to tell them to change his address from Texas to Vermont. The woman who took the call asked where Vermont was.
As he tried to explain, she interrupted and said, "Look, I'm not stupid or anything, but what state is it in?"
So after winning the game, I decided to throw the ball into the crowd like they do on TV ... apparently, it's unacceptable in bowling.

When he was thirteen, he told his parents other boys stayed out as late as they wanted to, so they said he could too. It was much easier that way.
When he was fourteen, the police called his home very late one night.
"We have your boy here at the police station," they said. "He's in big trouble".
"In trouble?" screamed the father. "It can't be my boy!"

Upon retirement, my life changed in few ways. I'm still as busy as before; I just don't get a paycheck for being busy. Nothing has changed that much.
The one thing that has changed is I schedule a nap every day. As most people know, a NAP is simply Navigating A Position. That position is level. At my age, I tell people that having these naps is essential; every day, I schedule a NAP at a particular time known only to myself.

It's dedicated to the memory of Maggie - Pastor Tim and family's dog. The SPCA rescued Maggie from Manitoba's Red River flood in 1996 and brought her to British Columbia where she had two short term owners before becoming a part of the Davis household where she preferred adults over kids, picked and ate fruit from trees in the backyard, and very rarely went into water at the beach.
