Sunday greetings everyone - and Happy Canadian Thanksgiving (or "Thanksgiving" as we call it in Canada.)

The photographer who snapped the viral man on bench photo as Super Typhoon Ragasa hit Hong KongGrandma Cybersalt and I are having a low-key Thanksgiving this year and will be enjoying a quiet dinner of something (at the time of my writing this Susan is out shopping to scope things out.) But, just because it will be quiet does not mean our hearts are not loud with thanks to God for all of His blessings, of which we include you, our Cybersalt Family.

Today's video share takes a look at the mood and possible interpretations behind an amazing photo which was taken during a storm. Perhaps the discussion on the different feelings it invokes is a good reminder to us that there isn't always only one correct way to interpret things that happen around us or in our lives.

Sunday greetings everyone - 16d260!

Why Doctors Say OpenEvidence Is A Game ChangerThe brake warning light has been on in my truck for many months and for some reason I simply assumed it was a sensor in my emergency brake pedal once released. However, the other day I realized it was more than that when I drove to the end of my driveway, stepped on the brake pedal and thought "this might get exciting" as the pedal went almost to the floor. I did manage to stop before entering the road. I then checked the brake fluid reservoir and found it empty. After filling it up, the brake warning light went out and I sheepishly realized that would have been an easy fix months ago. Now I just have to get the air out of my brake lines: Gilligan!

Today's video share is a look at how AI is helping medical specialists deal with the rate of the doubling of medical knowledge. In 1950, that rate was every 50 years. In 2025, it is every 73 days!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday - and welcome to October!

camp imadene elkAs suspected, Grandma Cybersalt and I had a great time at Church Camp over the weekend. I came down with a bug on the way home (and I am a bit fevered still) but we have so many good memories. One of my favorite ones was encountering a couple of Roosevelt Elk while out on a walk looking for them. The picture here is a frame I pulled out of some video I shot.

Today's video share is about a subway built for cats. Yes, you read that correctly.

Sunday greetings everyone - 37d260!

Rare medieval artifacts found in Chilliwack thrift storeGrandma Cybersalt and I are away at church camp this weekend. I am lining this mailing up on Friday to go out on Sunday so I hope we are having a good time! (I think the odds of that being true are more than the odds of today's issue #)

Today's video share comes with a question: "What would you do if you found "medieval" artifacts in a thrift store?

Sunday greetings everyone - and welcome to the last day of summer/winter (depending on the hemisphere you live in.)

World Population History Projection 10000 BC 2100It may be the last day of summer here at Cybersalt World Headquarters, but fall is definitely in the air! It was a good summer and I am mentally and emotionally prepared for the cooler weather and being toasty warm by the fireplace (or under the heat pump.)

Another thing I am mentally and emotionally prepared for is my 60th birthday in 45 days. I am actually quite excited about turning 60, so consider this is fair warning that out of the fullness of my heart I will be speaking of it often in the coming weeks - Lord willing!

I have mixed feelings about today's video share, especially about the theorizing a the beginning and the end. But with that in mind, I do find World Population - History & Projection (10,000 BC-2100) interesting in many ways
