Grandma Cybersalt and I are enjoying a visit with our friend (my late friend's wife) and two of their children. It is bittersweet that Darrell is not here and I miss him so much, but I remain grateful that he is with Jesus and for the hope of God's ongoing love and care over those left behind.

There was not Digest last Chicken Thursday: I was just too tired to put it together. I feel a bit guilty about that because just as I was giving up for the day, our daughter-in-law, Rebecca, was finally in labour! I guess somebody had to work!
Grandma Cybersalt and I were happy and blessed to meet our new granddaughter this past Thursday. Abigail Joelle Davis was born on Wednesday night at 10:10pm on July 26, weighing in at 9 pounds, 1 ounce! Everyone is healthy and well.

The big news at Cybersalt World Headquarters is the "no news yet" as Grandma Cybersalt and I await news of the arrival of our 6th grandchild - due 3 days ago! We know it is a granddaughter, we know her name is Abigail, and I am guessing she will be like me because she is late!
It's getting late as I prepare this and I don't have a video lined up to share today, so for now . . . .

I received exciting news yesterday: the full amount of money has been raised for Pastor Suneel to come to Canada as a church planter. I am very excited about what this means for him, his wife, and their young family - not to mention the people they will be reaching out to and caring for in Ontario.
Today's video share is of something I would love to try someday: glass blowing. I'd be happy with making only a paperweight - though I know I would be even close to the paperweights these people are making!

I have been using my new computer for a couple of weeks now. It has helped me get more done in the same amount of time as my 10 year old computer would have taken. One thing I haven't mentioned yet is that I (well, my company) also bought a 49 inch, curved monitor. I still almost giggle when when I think about it. The sizes and numbers of windows and tabs I can see at one time really helps with multi-tasking.
Grandma Cybersalt (after holding out for years that one screen was enough) now has one of my old screens as a second monitor plugged into her computer. While typing this, I asked her if she would ever go back to one screen. She said, "No." Mission accomplished - now I have find some new tech to win her over to next!

However, it's not so fried that I would enter the race (which I am qualified to run in) featured in today's video share. But, I suppose I could always cheer on Grandma Cybersalt from the sidelines!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
It has been like groundhog day at Cybersalt World Headquarters this week: wake up to beautiful weather each day, work all day, go to bed, wake up and do it all over again. I'm not complaining because those are all things to be thankful for. Plus, this Saturday is our son's birthday and he and his family are coming for the day and to stay over night and they are expecting their third child later this month, so our daily routine is definitely going to be getting interrupted!
