Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
Grandma Cybersalt and I both had colds this week, but we are grateful for the timing because this weekend we are heading on a trip back east to visit my parents and our daughter and her family. We are already feeling much better and that will make for more comfortable travelling for sure!
Today's video share shows a dog for whom playing dead wasn't good enough. He wanted to play statue!

Sunday greetings, everyone - and Happy Thanksgiving in Canada!
Grandma Cybersalt and I headed up island yesterday and had a fun day with two of our kids and their families. We had a great turkey meal together and returned home with some yummy leftovers to enjoy today.

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
I am wondering if anyone out there has a website that needs a redo or major redesign? A refugee we have been in contact with for many years has lost the financial help he was receiving from some supporters in Europe. The financial hardships of the times there (and the upcoming expensive winter) mean they can no longer afford to send him money for his daily living.
Cybersalt is growing and I can help him by giving him a job, but I'm not in a place where I can pay to train him him unless there is a paying project specifically for him to work on. This can be a win-win situation for all involved because I am willing to throw in a year of webhosting, a year of site monitoring and security updates, and I promise the price I quote for the work will be below what I normally charge and all will go to him. Of course, I will be supervising and the end product will be excellent and professional. If you are interested, please email me at [email protected]
Today's video share is about a kind of seaweed that when mixed into the feed of cattle all but eliminates the methane in cow burps. I suspect that Grandma Cybersalt will start mixing seaweed in my food for the same reason after she watches "What Seaweed and Cow Burps Have to Do with Climate Change."

Sunday greetings, everyone - and welcome to October!
Grandma Cybersalt and I have seasons passes for the local Imax theatre. I realize that make us sound kind of old, but it actually helps keep us looking young - no, not because the theatre is dark!
Each year we renew our memberships the theatre re-uses our pictures from the first time we purchased! As long as we keep renewing we'll be forever young. Though, I suppose there will come a day when we we are so old they accuse us of having a fake membership card! If that happens, at least we'll be able to start over at a senior's rate.
We watched a new movie at the Imax theatre the other day. The trailer for "Train Time" is today's video share.
