The computer in my high school classroom recently started acting up. After watching me struggle with it, one of my students came up and took over. "Your hard drive crashed," he said.
I called the computer services office and explained, "My computer is down. The hard drive crashed."
"We can't just send people down on your say-so. How do you know that's the problem?"
"A student told me," I answered.
"We'll send someone over right away."
Every handy person needs two things in in their toolbox - WD40 and Duct Tape.
Basically, if it doesn'tmove but is supposed to, use WD40 to fix it.
If it does move and doesn't - use Duct Tape to fix it. Oh yeah, apparently you can use duct tape for fashion too.

The SPCA rescued Maggie from Manitoba's Red River flood in 1996 and brought her to British Columbia where she had two short term owners before becoming a part of the Davis household where she preferred adults over kids, picked and ate fruit from trees in the backyard, and very rarely went into water at the beach.
