Ball Balancer

Details
Published: 19 December 2006

The computer keyboard sure has come a long way.  It, and other computer peripherals used to be so clunky and awkward!  Remember when a computer used to be so dependent upon a mouse pad?  Now optical mice make playing games quite dreamy.

One of the companies that is repsonsible for better mice, track balls, and keyboards is Logitech.  Their plug and play computer hardware sure has made using computers easy.

However,  here's a keyboard that might drive you bonkers after a while.  Have fun navigating all of the challenging layers.

Sheep Beats

Conga drums!  Yes, you heard me right - conga drums.  I just bought a pair of conga drums for the church.  We are going to use them during the second service we are starting in the new year.   I hope I'm not the only one who ends up playing them.

We are also looking for other instrumentalists for that service too.  My wife is playing piano and we've got some guitar players and I'm encouraging one of our teens to bring her saxaphone.

To sum it all up - we are looking for sheep with a beat.  Kind of like these ones.  Enjoy making them play.

Largest Ketchup Bottle

Details
Published: 16 December 2006

My youngest daughter loves ketchup - tons of it!  My wife is a good cook so it's not to cover up the taste of food.  She really likes it.  Consequently, we always buy the biggest bottle of ketchup we can.

After seeing this site I've now realized that we really only buy the biggest ketchup bottle we can afford.

Singing Cats

Details
Published: 14 December 2006

Nothing says "Merry" more than cat's singing Christmas songs!  OK, not really but I just needed a way to warn you that this FunLink features cats singing.

Some of you love cats and the idea of of a feline singing along to Jingle Bells or White Christmas thrills you to no end.

Others of you would rather have your teeth cleaned with a wood file and should really just send the address of this page to your friends who owe you money.  I'll see if I can find you some dogs singing and bringing down the "woof".

Stereograms

Details
Published: 12 December 2006

It may sound like someone has mailed you a new stereo system, but a stereogram is actually a 3 dimensional image you can see if you relax your eyes a certain way.

The first time I ever saw one of these was when I lived in Toronto.  I was walking along in the Sherway Centre and saw some art hanging in the window of one of those stores that features unique educational games and oddities.  All the picture looked like was a hanging of scribbles, but it was titled "Space Shuttle."  Next to it was a similar one called "Wolves."  I thought for sure someone had flipped their mind, but then I'm not that art minded so I figured "whatever." It wasn't until later on when someone gave me a book of stereograms that I realized it wasn't some kind of modern art that had me mystified in the mall.

I hesitate to present these here because inevitably someone will give up trying to see the "hidden" image and accuse me of messing with their minds.  I merely want to mess with your eyes.
