We're enjoying a visit from one of Grandma Cybersalt's brothers and his son. Bill and Jordan are going to go on something called a "hike?" I hear it is a long walk that one takes because one wants to - not because one has to. An interesting concept!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
I cannot tell a lie, the cherry tree is almost totally picked. Grandma Cybersalt is OK if birds pick the little bit that is remaining, so we have removed the protective nets.

Things are getting more efficient around Cybersalt World Headquarters as Grandma Cybersalt begins to help out with the day to day running of the company. Susan has announced her retirement from the refugee sponsorship work she has done since 2015. She isn't going to be fully retired until 2029 because existing refugee sponsorship applications take 3-4 years to be processed, interviewed, and then supervised after those accepted for sponsorship actually arrive in Canada. But, with our denomination deciding not to replace her, she will no longer be submitting any new applications or recruiting sponsor groups - one of the biggest parts of her job.
Today's video share is a fascinating retelling of the Lake Peigneur Disaster. This would have been quite the event to see - from a distance!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
Congratulations to our eldest grandson on his graduation from elementary school. Wow, grandkids are real reminders that I am older than I feel.
I can't remember if I have l already shared a video similar to today's, but I found this one very satisfying so I will risk the repeat. I also find it fascinating that the fellow in this video still has all of his fingers!

Sunday greetings, everyone and welcome to summer/winter (depending on which hemisphere you live in!)
Our nets on the fruit tree are working pretty well. As a result, we have lots of cherries to pick so these days only Grandma Cybersalt is up the tree, while I hold the ladder.
Every now and then, I notice that I have taken another step towards being a senior citizen. This past week's moment was when I noticed how much I was enjoying this video on the oldest bridge in London.
