Sunday greetings everyone - and welcome to the last day of summer/winter (depending on the hemisphere you live in.)

World Population History Projection 10000 BC 2100It may be the last day of summer here at Cybersalt World Headquarters, but fall is definitely in the air! It was a good summer and I am mentally and emotionally prepared for the cooler weather and being toasty warm by the fireplace (or under the heat pump.)

Another thing I am mentally and emotionally prepared for is my 60th birthday in 45 days. I am actually quite excited about turning 60, so consider this is fair warning that out of the fullness of my heart I will be speaking of it often in the coming weeks - Lord willing!

I have mixed feelings about today's video share, especially about the theorizing a the beginning and the end. But with that in mind, I do find World Population - History & Projection (10,000 BC-2100) interesting in many ways

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

F2C the race RECORD 2014 WCh Wloclawek 628We're enjoying a visit with our son who is here for two days and a night doing a bunch of yard care and fence fixing for us - willingly! I note "willingly" because in his teens there was much less yard care done and mush less "willing" as well. It's all good, though, because he was still a great kid back then and he is a great man now - independent of what he did/does around here!

Today's video share is both describable and beyond description. I get dizzy just thinking about trying this.

You Need to Be BoredI am definitely ready for a day of rest today after a very full day of work yesterday, which included finishing off a major project for a client. Working hard is not the only reason to take a day off, but it is one of the more enjoyable ones.

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

We have a tree in the backyard at Cybersalt World Headquarters that has had quite a few dead branches on it. This week we hired an arborist to come and cut them off. It's a lot nicer to look at, and I don't think it's going out on a limb to say that the neighbours are happy we had it tidied up either!

Hajime Miura 3A World YoYo Champion World YoYo Contest 2025The news is that I am babysitting right now; babysitting one of my servers! I have three servers that I host client websites on, but right now one of them is having "a moment." The server company is looking into the issue and I am watching for when all things are up and running again. And then, as in babysitting, I get to email my clients and explain everything that happened while there were gone!

Today's video share features something I have been called in the past: a yoyo. Well, if I am a yoyo like the yoyo in this video, I will gladly accept that!
