After 90 Years The Loch Ness Monster Debate Is OverI have received an early Christmas gift: the gift of slowing down. Unbeknownst to me, I received this gift on October 30th when I jumped off the tailgate of my brother-in-law's pickup truck, spraining my ankle. It was getting better, but last Sunday I reinjured it and on Friday finally took the time to see a doctor, who sent me for an x-ray. The results were no breaks and nothing out of place: it's just a bad sprain.

The last couple of Christmases, Grandma Cybersalt and I have tried to be intentional about not overbooking our holiday events and activities, so it's not that I needed something to slow my celebrating down. However, I have been in need of slowing down and getting more work done, so I am going to use this as an opportunity to park my cane at my desk and tackle and pursue some of the exciting things that have been developing at Cybersalt.

Speaking of giving something a rest, today's video share makes a good argument at putting the Loch Ness Monster mystery to bed.

Superwood is Here This Amazing New Material Could Change The WorldGrandma Cybersalt pointed out that my "the day after Christmas is one month away" observation (last Sunday) was a bit eager (not her words, lol.) I guess I am looking forward to Christmas even more than I am already excited about. I hope my calendar enthusiasm did not throw any of you too far off in your plans!

Why do people sneeze at the sunA month from today will be "Boxing Day." That's what we call the day after Christmas here in Canada. I am exercising restraint in starting to play Christmas music as I think I'll get the most bang for my buck if I endure one more dark November week and then unleash the cheer to chase the gloominess away.

Making a WOODEN Airplane PropellerGrandma Cybersalt and I flew home Friday night, returning from my "Back Home to turn 60!" extravaganza trip. As we prepared to taxi and take off, I was reading the airline instructions on how to connect to the free wifi when I looked over at Susan and noticed she was reading the emergency safety card. That's what makes us a great team. If anything had happened she could lead me out of the plane while I live streamed it on the internet!

Speaking of flying, today's video share is about how to make a wooden propellor. My favourite part is is the crazy saw/lathe!
