Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

Aerial field art along the Tour de FranceWork is absolutely humming here at Cybersalt World Headquarters. You might remember that a few months back I spoke at a conference about how to have a zero inbox. I am taking my own advice — there's just more work coming in than one person can get to some days. Some nights I count it a win when I'm only looking at a hundred emails. I'm not complaining — I'm grateful for the opportunity — but I'll admit it gets a little overwhelming at times.

Grandma Cybersalt is burning the candle at both ends right along with me, and I'm grateful for her too — even if it means some nights we don't sit down to supper until after 9 o'clock.

Today's video share proves that farmers really are people who are outstanding in their field — but who knew their field could be art? It's a pretty impressive bit of creativity, using what's on hand and a little aerial perspective.

Sunday greetings everyone!

Controlled CHAOS: I Flew the Fisk Arrival into Oshkosh 2025It's been a really productive week here at Cybersalt World Headquarters, and I'm not the only one keeping busy. Grandma Cybersalt has been building a website for one of our clients, and she is doing great — getting greater every day, just like she has her whole life.

Today's video share is one shared with me by a client I had a consultation with this week. He'd been wanting to get his email sending working again in time to fly off to Oshkosh with a friend, and he passed this along. I have to admit, there is something about having a private plane that appeals to me. But I'll be honest: I am not a stickler for detail. That's exactly why I'm better off enjoying cars. When a car breaks down because I missed something, I just pull over to the side of the road. When a plane breaks down because I missed something, I end up on the news for all the wrong reasons. Oshkosh does look like a ton of fun, but landing there looks like quite the challenge!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

First one to drive up the moving trailer wins - Slinger Slamfest 2026The forecast today is calling for a 70% chance of rain, which will not only be good for the grass but should give everything a nice wash from all the dust that's been drifting over from the dog park construction next door. Bring on the rain — it'll be nice to have a cool day and a break in the weather.

Today's video share is from the Slinger Slamfest 2026 — an end-of-night contest to see which driver can be first to drive their car up onto a moving trailer. It brought back memories of my own nights at the Speedway, where sometimes getting the race truck onto the trailer was a challenge — and it wasn't even moving.

Sunday greetings everyone!

Mini golf against his wifeGrandma Cybersalt and I have settled into our summer routine — the past couple of weeks have been a bit of a lull of activity. It's not that we're not busy or don't have things to do, but the empty days are letting us knuckle down on our work and catch up.

The weather has been very nice too — not too cold, not too hot. The only reason we had the heat pump on this week was that we had to close the windows because of all the dust coming from the tractor that's started digging up the dog park next door.

Today's video share is one where you might start to feel like what this fellow is doing is unfair. But watch till the end — you'll see him learn a lesson the hard way when he plays mini golf against his wife.

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

Nebraska town celebrates world's biggest time capsule after 50 yearsI think I mentioned in the past that we're getting a dog park next to Cybersalt World Headquarters. Well today they started working on it. What we've enjoyed for years as just a nice vacant park — grasses, wildflowers, quietly returned to nature — will soon be an exercise area for the dogs of the community. It was super windy while they were digging today, with dust blowing across our yard, so we kept the windows shut and let the heat pumps handle the cooling. As for the dog park coming in? I'm keeping cool about that too.

Today's video share is about a fellow who wanted to leave some happiness and joy for people in the future, so he buried a time capsule. It didn't get dug up this July 4th, but that doesn't really make a difference — and I've always thought Vegas were pretty cool cars.
