A couple of you mentioned that you found it hard to read the Cybersalt News section of mailings when it's presented in white text on orange background. As you can see, I have changed the formatting to make it more legible.

A couple of weeks ago, Mrs. Cybersalt and I saw the movie "Million Dollar Arm."  We really enjoyed that true story of the search for untapped baseball pitching talent in India.

Yesterday, a well know rapper threw out the first pitch at a New York Mets game.  If I were going to give a title to the video of that pitch I would call it "50 Cent Arm."  You'll see what I mean if you go to:

I'm super excited to announce the beginning of some re-design on the Cybersalt Site! Over the next while you will notice that different areas have a much more user friendly way to be exposed to other and related content on the Cybersalt site.

For instance, if you go to view the latest funny cat picture "Presbyterian Wishes" (www.cybersalt.org/3r44) you will notice a column with other images randomly gathered from the Funny Cat Pictures and other Funny picture galleries. I think it makes the page look better and it's already making it easer for visitors to experience more of the over 13,000 pages on the site.

I added a really touching video to the ISN site today.  Michael Mullins is a 38-year-old diehard Boston Red Sox fan who has Down Syndrome.  He recently wowed the crowd at Fenway Park when he sang the National Anthem before the game.  You'll find the video at:

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

Greetings and salutations from the land of the lost - well the land of the lost in other things that is!

Some of you have been inquiring about where on earth I am and wondering if something has happened to me.  The answer is, I am right here and I'm OK (well I have been on crutches the last 2 days but that is unrelated.) I've actually been working on a huge project with a friend the last 4 months.

Independent Sports News aims to be the leading source of amateur and community level sports news from around the world.  It's a big site for the little guys.  The updated site is really coming together nicely to the point where I have a bit of breathing room to return to some of my own Cybersalt Stuff. It has been almost 4 weeks since I last mailed out the Cybersalt Digest and Pearlygates newsletters. I've been working on a bunch of web projects for people this month.  There is one in particular I'd really like you to take a moment to consider today.

In my community, 4-year-old girl named Hannah Day is in a pretty major battle with the 2nd cancer of her young life. Like 20,000 people around the world, Hannah needs a stem cell donor.  Could you please help in the search for a matched donor?

The first thing everyone can do is help get the word out by sharing the following link on your social media networks: www.hannahday.ca/hannah-and-the-bear

A second thing many can do is register with a stem cell and bone marrow registry in your country (www.hannahday.ca/internationalhope). Each country has its own requirements (in Canada the age bracket is 17-35), but all are linked internationally so you might end up helping save the life of someone near or far from you.  Registering involves having a kit mailed to you, a simple cheek swab, and then the return mailing of your kit.

If you are not eligible to be a donor, please encourage someone who is to sign up.

People who are waiting for news of a matched donor need our prayers, but don't pray until you find out if you are an eligible donor and, if you are, have signed up.  Remember, faith without works is dead.
