Oh look, Chicken Thursday - and welcome to September!

One of my web clients is a gentleman who is running for city council a few cities over from where I live. He launched his campaign at an outdoor park the other day and a videographer my company uses (Sunny Gill) and I went to film the event. While Sunny had his own cameras, I brought my Canon 70d along so we would have some footage from yet another angle.

After I thought I had my camera all dialed in and set up on my tripod, Sunny came over, pushed a few buttons, gave a dial a spin and then checked the screen to make sure all was as he wanted to match his own cameras. I could not believe how much better the shot looked. I exclaimed, "How did you do that? I've never seen my camera look that good."

I guess I need to ask Sunny for help more often - and hire him to give me some classes too!

Yesterday was an enjoyable family day of chasing Pokemon around with my daughter and son-in-law. I know some of you play too so I hope you had a fun day too!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

The next time you go to the Cybersalt Site you may notice that the look has changed slightly. This is the last week I have my co-op students working for me (although I may be hiring one of them) so I had Gurnoor convert the template to a new system.

This is a step toward a bigger software update in the near future that will boost the speed of the site and add new security features. I'll even be able to log into the site on my phone with my eye!

Sunday greetings, everyone.

Our eldest daughter and her son returned home yesterday morning after a very enjoyable 2 week/1 week (he was here a week before she was) visit. This is a picture from one of our outings during that time. This waterfall is a 15 minute drive from Cybersalt World Headquarters. It is actually named, "Niagara Falls," but of course it's not that Niagara Falls!
