Bob was on vacation, visiting a Las Vegas casino for the first time.
He decided to play the slots. Since he wasn't sure how to play a slot machine, he called an attendant over.
"Excuse me," Bob said. "How does this work?"
The worker showed him how to insert a bill, hit the spin button and pull the handle.
"And where does the money come out?" Bob asked.
The casino employee smiled and pointed to a far wall. "The ATM is over there."
"I'd kill for a Nobel Peace Prize."
Our boss told us that she is planning a salary raise.
One of the guys asked, "When does it become effective?"
The boss answered, "As soon as you do."

The SPCA rescued Maggie from Manitoba's Red River flood in 1996 and brought her to British Columbia where she had two short term owners before becoming a part of the Davis household where she preferred adults over kids, picked and ate fruit from trees in the backyard, and very rarely went into water at the beach.
