If you go out to the woods tonight (properly chaperoned of course) and away from the city lights you might just be able to see comet Lulin in the sky.  There is a pretty neat story behind how this comet was found.  However, instead of re-telling it here I'm just going to send you straight to NASA to get the dish (not a satellite dish this time) on the facts.

Here's a really cool link that someone just sent me.  On the page that opens, you can see the front page of many newspapers from around the world.  It's really interesting to see all of the different things that editors thought was front page news on the same day.

For anyone who knows me and my family, you'll understand why a story about a baby being born with 12 fingers and 12 toes is fun to learn about.  So I'm not poking fun at this kid's genetic differences - I'm just wondering what took him so long. Around here 12 fingers and 12 toes = 1 old story!  We laughed particularly when one web site described it as "like something out of a science fiction novel."  Oh Really!

On a related note, has anyone noticed who in the Bible had 24 digits in all?  If you know, post a comment below and share it with the world.
