Cybersalt News
Sunday greetings, everyone.
I've just returned from a couple of days in and around Port Angeles, Washington, USA. I was over there to meet a client from the UK who had travelled to attend a memorial service for a relative. I also got to spend time with a very good friend who lives over there as well.
The ferry I took back to Vancouver Island left shortly after sunset on what was easily the nicest day of the year so far! We even saw whales as we transited the straight.
Enjoy the rest of today's mailing.

Strangest Dream
"I had the strangest dream last night," a man was telling his psychiatrist.
"I saw my mother, but when she turned around to look at me, I noticed that she had your face. You can imagine, I found this very disturbing, and in fact I woke up immediately, and couldn't get back to sleep. I just lay there in bed waiting for morning to come, and then I got up, drank a Coke, and came right over here for my appointment. I thought you could help me explain the meaning of this strange dream."
The psychiatrist was silent for a full minute before responding:
"A Coke? You call that a breakfast?"

Loving Your Neighbour
Some neighbors of my grandparents gave them a pumpkin pie as a gift. As lovely as the gesture was, it was clear from the first bite that the pie tasted bad. In fact, it was so inedible that my grandmother had to throw it away.
Ever gracious and tactful, my grandmother still felt obliged to send the neighbors a note. It read,
"Thank you very much for the pumpkin pie. Something like that doesn't last very long in our house."
