Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
So far July has been cool and even rainy at times around Cybersalt World Headquarters. I don't mind that, in fact I prefer it instead of the heat pictured on the page at:

Car Pool Note
A man learned shortly before quitting time that he had to attend a meeting.
He tried unsuccessfully to locate his car-pool members to let them know that he would not be leaving with them. Hastily he scribbled a message to one of the fellows and left it on his desk:
"I have a last-minute meeting. Leave without me. Dave."
At 7:00 pm, the man stopped at his desk and found this note:
"Meet us at the bar and grill across the street. You drove, Goober!"

People are usually shocked when they find out I'm not a very good electrician.

Quote #1834

"Compassion asks us to go where it hurts, to enter into the places of pain, to share in brokenness, fear, confusion and anguish. Compassion challenges us to cry out with those in misery, to mourn with those who are lonely, to weep with those in tears. Compassion requires us to be weak with the weak, vulnerable with the vulnerable, and powerless with the powerless. Compassion means full immersion in the condition of being human."

Change
The Amish people lead a simple life. That means no electricity. An Amish man answered a knock on his door one morning.
An electric company worker handed him a piece of paper stating that the electric company would like to run a power line through his cow pasture. The Amish man said, "No, no thou cannot."
"Legally, that paper says we can," replied the gruff worker.
As he turned and left returning to his co-workers in the field, the Amish man went to his barn and turned his bull into the pasture. As the bull rumbled toward the workers in the field, the Amish farmer hollered,
"Show HIM thy paper!"
