Redeeming love, how can it be
That Christ would die upon a tree
Redeeming love that He would give
His life for us that we might live
He is the way, the truth, the life
He freely gave a sacrifice
No rights He held, no pain too great
To lead His own through Heaven’s gate
Redeeming love so big and wide
A bridge that reached the other side
No stone too large, no tomb so cold
God’s plan of love would still unfold
It took three days for faith to see
Christ rose and lives triumphantly
New life in Him is free to claim
Come as you are in Jesus’ name
Redeeming love that we might gain
Through faith, a little tiny grain
Redeeming love to all who come
Believe in Christ, the battle’s won
