The destiny of every Christian is to honor the name of Jesus Christ,
whose death and resurrection is the basis of Christianity. He is Author
and Finisher of our faith!
In the text today, Peter and John had been told by the Sanhedrin not to
speak about the name of Jesus anymore. When they were released, they . . .

In the text today, Peter and John had been told by the Sanhedrin not to speak about the name of Jesus anymore. When they were released, they went to a home prayer meeting where they turned the threats over to their sovereign LORD and said, "Grant to thy servants to speak Thy Word with all boldness." verse 29
God answered by shaking the building, filling them with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke with boldness. They honored the name of Jesus as we honor it when we speak it to others.
Christians friends, when we pray sincerely, praising God and presenting Him with petitions that seek His glory, great things happen. But first we must pray from the heart.
Dissension's fuse is easy to ignite
It fuels our anger, yet it dims the light;
Help us, we pray, humbly to seek Your Name,
And in pride's place restore Your Spirit's flame.
