With 7 official days left in the summer of '24, the weather at Cybersalt Headquarters is definitely getting ready to switch to autumn. Grandma Cybersalt and I are approaching the age were we really want to avoid as many tumbles as possible, but when it comes to the seasons of the year we hope to experience many more falls!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
Last evening, I spotted a woman from my church at the casino and told her I was going to tell our pastor. I suppose she could also tell him she spotted me there too but it's all good; we were both there for a Chamber of Commerce gathering. Still, I realize that to even admit I was there is taking a risk with some people, but I guess I will just have to let the chips land where they do! And to be clear, attending was the only gamble I took the whole evening!
Today's video share will challenge you to look at something from a different perspective. Believe it or not, this pool table (which is on a cruise ship) is always level!

Grandma Cybersalt and I were at a wedding reception last night. The couple, Elijah and Emily, had a guest book and polaroid cameras for taking pictures to put next to where we signed. You know you are getting older when you can actually remember when throwback technology was actually new and exciting!

Oh look, Chicken Thursday and happy 36th birthday to Alyssa, our first born: WOW!
This week I went with a friend and his wife to scatter his father's ashes. Upon arriving near the small beach where this was to take place, we discovered the road to the beach blocked by 3 Hydro (electrical utility) trucks. At first we thought, "Oh No, what are we going to do now?" but, after we explained why we were there, the workers walked us past the lines they were working on. This allowed us to walk the rest of the way to the beach. What looked like an obstacle turned out to be a blessing: God had provided the beach for us alone to share that solemn moment together.
Some people learn to play a musical instrument because it "speaks to them." But in today's video share we see a musical instrument that wants you to speak to it!
