Back Pew Flu and Cold Season
 Every so often I come down with the common or uncommon cold and/or flu like symptoms. This page is honor and/or recognition for those of us afflicted.
Coughing, sneezing, runny nose, hoarse voice, Bad stomach, CAN'T SLEEP AT ALL, my voice is hoarse, hurts to swallow, and when I am sick my mood and my perspective travels southward.
In these times my prayers and relationship to God feel like they stop at the ceiling.. and my focus is HYPERFOCUSED on me. The good news ( I guess ) is that I know it is because I am sick, but being wired the way I am .. it still makes me feel alone. I honestly don't do sick well.
Of course my perspective is TAINTED by being SICK. Jesus cried.. "My God, my God why have you forsaken me?".. well at least Jesus did not have a bad cold like me when He was in Gethsemane, and God was His father.. my dad's name was ... Walter.
Truth be told.. I am SERIOUSY BLESSED with a good life, and I know when I feel better.. I will quit wallowing at my pity party, and I realize my prayers were actually making it to Heaven.
