Cybersalt News
Some of you will remember that the last time I was back east visiting my parents, I badly sprained my ankle, which led to a lot of pain, recovery time, and lingering side effects in my feet.
Just before that injury, Susan and I had gone for a walk around the block in the rural area where my parents live. During some of the most painful times afterward—when I was struggling with mobility and even simple movement around the house—I found myself thinking back to that walk. I was amazed that something so effortless had suddenly become so difficult. I longed for the ability to simply put my shoes on and go for a pain free walk again, and I wondered if I would ever get back to that point.
Well, I’ve just returned from visiting my parents again, in a place much colder and snowier than here on Vancouver Island, where Cybersalt headquarters is located. One day, when the temperature rose above freezing and the sun came out, I was excited to lace up my shoes and head out for that same walk around the block.
As I walked, I found myself deeply grateful to God, praising Jesus that I had come through that difficult season and was now almost back to normal.

I just saw a pack of gummy worms that said, "No artificial flavors." Who is out there buying gummy worms hoping they taste like real worms??
Foul Lunch
I recently bought a chicken to make some sandwiches.
It doesn't. It's noisy and poops all over the floor.

Jesus Loves Me For Seniors
Jesus loves me, this I know
Though my hair is white as snow
Though my sight is growing dim
Still He bids me trust in Him.(CHORUS 1):
YES, JESUS LOVES ME YES, JESUS LOVES ME
YES. JESUS LOVES ME THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.
Though my steps are oh, so slow.
With my hand in His I'll go
On through life, let come what may
He'll be there too lead the way.
(CHORUS 1)
Though I am no longer young,
I have much which He's begun
Let me serve Christ with a smile.
Go with others the extra mile.
(CHORUS 1)
When the nights are dark and long,
In my heart He puts a song,
Telling me in words so clear,
"Have not fear, for I am near."
(CHORUS 1)
When my work on earth is done,
And life's vic'tries have been won
He will take me home above,
Then I'll understand His love.
(CHORUS 1)
I love Jesus, does He know?
Have I ever told Him so?
Jesus loves to hear me say
That I love Him every day.
(CHORUS 2):
Yes, I love Jesus,
Yes, I love Jesus,
Yes, I love Jesus
I tell Him when I pray.

Swimming in an Ocean of Pills
I have a confession to make. I never realized that the older I get, the more difficult life seems to be. Oh, for those good ole days.
As a young person, I thought that when I got older, all of my problems would be solved. At the time, I did not know all the problems I was going to face in life. Maybe that’s why my face looks like it does!
