Cybersalt News

Sunday greetings, everyone - and welcome to March!

march sunsetI don't know if it's the case where you live, but here at CyberSalt World Headquarters, we changed the clocks forward an hour last night in keeping with Daylight Saving Time. I much prefer when we turn the clocks back an hour in the fall and gain an hour of sleep. But lately, I've been doing much better at getting to bed earlier and enjoying the benefits of feeling more awake during the day, and so I had motivation to go to bed early last night as well. (As I'm writing this on Saturday evening, hopefully I was successful.) This is not to say I haven't been working some late nights, just fewer of them.

There is no video share today because apparently I didn't watch anything this week that I found interesting enough to add to the list to share with everyone. I could have gone looking for one, but that would have kept me up later. As a substitute, I hope you will enjoy this picture I took of a sunset early last week.

Enjoy the rest of today's Digest.

Mr. Sugarbrown's Daughter

A young girl with curly hair and a puzzled expression on her face.A certain little girl, when asked her name, would reply, "I'm Mr. Sugarbrown's daughter."

Her mother told her this was wrong, she must say, "I'm Jane Sugarbrown."

The Vicar spoke to her in Sunday School, and said, "Aren't you Mr. Sugarbrown's daughter?"

She replied, "I thought I was, but mother says I'm not."

A Needle Named Miss Ouch

A young doctor with a white lab coat holding up a stethoscope and partially blocking his face.My father has been gone for 15 years. It hardly seems that long, but time goes by, and you can’t stop it.

One of my father’s “jokes” was, “Son, I’m so sick and tired of being sick and tired.” Then he would laugh, and I would, of course, join in with his laughter. Although I was laughing, I did not get the punch line.

I may be getting a little closer to understanding that joke, but believe me, I’m not laughing.
