Cybersalt News
Sunday greetings, everyone!
Things are going well around Cybersalt World headquarters, although I do have a bit of an issue with one project I manage for a very large client. All was going well until yesterday when I suddenly lost communication with some equipment I was supposed to monitor. I suspect something happened to the balloon it was tethered to, so if you don't mind, please check your backyard to see if maybe it's there.
Today's video share reminds me of a couple of times I ended up with egg on my face because of the Dunning Kruger Effect. Although, I must say I never put lemon juice on my face!

Grandma and God
My grandson was visiting one day when he asked, "Grandma, do you know how you and God are alike?"
I mentally polished my halo while I asked, "No, how are we alike?"
"You're both old," he replied.

Arrest Report
A fellow is walking down the street, and is accosted by a policeman. After brief questioning, the gentleman is arrested.
On facing the Magistrate, the policeman's statement is as follows, "Your Honour, the defendant was on Smith Street, carrying, on his back, a desk. He clutched in his left hand a typewriter, in his right, a wastepaper basket."
"I arrested him for impersonating an office, sir."

Sponges, Christian Testimony
Here are 5 sponges laying on your kitchen counter top. Each member of your family has been cleaning up different areas of your home, but all the sponges look the same. You are curious as to what was cleaned in your home, but you can't tell by looking...they all look the same...so what do you do?
You squeeze each sponge to see what comes out.
As you squeeze the first sponge, you see that cola comes out, and so you decide that someone cleaned the kitchen with that one. Upon squeezing the second sponge, you find tub and tile cleaner - that one was used to clean the bathroom. Next, in the third sponge, you find motor oil - hubby was cleaning the garage! In the fourth sponge, baby powder puffs out when it is squeezed - yep, the baby's nursery was done with that one! And finally, in the last one, is floor wax - that was the one you used on the hall floor!
As you lay the last one down, you look again at their similarity - and they all look the same until they're squeezed.
Christians are the same way.
As life squeezes us, different things come out; anger from one, a need for revenge from another, tears from one, remorse from yet another - also greed, untruth, lust - and finally, from one saint, pours forth the love of Christ.
Just like the sponge, we can only squeeze out what is put in - stay in the Word daily, and be in continuous prayer, so that when life puts the squeeze on you (and it WILL), Jesus, and Jesus ALONE will shine forth from you!
Have a blessed, squeaky clean day!

An Apple Fritter on My Mind
The last few weeks have been rather hectic, and I’ve struggled to keep up with everything. If it weren’t for The Gracious Mistress of the Parsonage, I probably would not have gotten where I am today.
I don’t know anybody who can plan out a day, week, or month better than her. She has everything planned down to the smallest detail.
On the other hand, I am not very good when it comes to these detailed plannings. I’m an in-the-moment person. Therefore, I really get things screwed up as far as scheduling.
