The Cybersalt Digest

Cybersalt News

Sunday greetings, everyone.

I am lining this mailing up late on Saturday night after returning from a full evening of racing on the last ever race night at our local speedway. Me, my son-in-law, Josh and 3 of my young grandchildren had a memorable evening - both for the racing and also what it's like to take 3 children to the races for 7 hours, lol.

And that is why the news is very brief today!

Enjoy the rest of today's mailing.

Prayer Positions

prayer5Three ministers sat discussing the best positions for prayer while a telephone repairman worked nearby.

"Kneeling is definitely best," claimed one minister.

"No," another contended. "I get the best results standing with my hands outstretched to Heaven."

"You're both wrong," the third insisted. "The most effective prayer position is lying prostrate, face down on the floor."

The repairman could contain himself no longer. "Hey, fellas," he interrupted, "the best prayin' I ever did was hangin' upside down from a telephone pole."

Death, Going Home

hands oldMy friend was a Software Engineer for a major defense company.

Well, he left to work at Paradigm Games and like many people there, let his hair and beard grow.

He told me the other day that his grandma has been ill in the hospital and he flew home to see her for the first time since abandoning the corporate look. He got to the hospital just a few minutes before the end of visiting hours and she was already asleep.

When she woke up to see this bearded man with hair down to his shoulders standing silhouetted in the light of the door, you can imagine what she thought.

Apparently, she was pretty disappointed that it was her grandson and not Jesus.
