There is Gospel chorus I learned in Bible School that goes like this: "Things are different now, something happened to me when I gave my heart to Jesus." After a person is saved, he is not satisfied with his former way of life.

The Christian is often ridiculed because he does not participate in worldly practices.  His unsaved friends can't understand why he no longer enjoys the habits in which he once indulged.

What habitat do you enjoy?  If you feel at ease in the ungodly, profane environment of the world with its lust and greed, maybe  . .

What habitat do you enjoy?  If you feel at ease in the ungodly, profane environment of the world with its lust and greed, maybe you have never been transformed by the grace of God.  Once you have experienced the fellowship of His Son and the refreshing winds of His Spirit, you become climatized to better things, and the lowlands of sin hold no comfort for you.

I am resolved no longer to linger, Charmed by the world's delight; Things that are higher, things that are nobler- These have allured my sight.
