Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your LORD will come. Matt 24:42
 
  Christ's second coming will be swift and sudden. There will be no opportunity for last-minute repentance or bargaining The choice we have already made will determine our eternal destiny.
 
  Jesus our blessed LORD has not fixed the exact day and hour of his return; but He has said with the utmost urgency, "Watch!" Should He come today would He find us so absorbed in our thoughtless dissipations and our worldly pursuits that we would be surprised and perhaps not even happy to greet Him?  O, let us examine our hearts, for what will we say if He finds us unprepared and with empty hands when He appears? Will He not say to us, as He did to the disciples of old, "Could ye not, watch and pray."
 
  He is coming! Hope sublime! short is now the waiting time; from my expectant eyes adoring teardrops start, He is coming! O, 'tis music to my heart!
