Warning and comfort are beautifully blended in this brief statement by
our LORD. The warning clearly is this: Not all who are religious after
a fashion will be saved; not even all who once knew and confessed
Christ as Savior and LORD. In this passage Jesus is speaking of the
latter days, the days preceding the end of the world. He earnestly
forewarns us that many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive
many. Do these words of Christ give us a true picture of . . .

In this passage Jesus is speaking of the latter days, the days preceding the end of the world. He earnestly forewarns us that many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many. Do these words of Christ give us a true picture of this present age? In such evil days, when temptations increase and when many fall away from the faith, it is not easy to remain a true disciple of Jesus.
Christian friends, everyone that endures to the end will positively be saved. Every man, woman, youth and every child that continues to believe in Jesus Christ to then end of life or the end of time will be delivered from sin and the power of the devil; will escape damnation and receive the salvation which Jesus has secured by His own steadfast faithfulness even unto the death of the cross.
May God bestow on us His grace
With blessings rich provide us,
And may the brightness of His face
To life eternal guide us.
That we His saving health may know,
His gracious will and pleasure,
And also to the heathen show
Christ's riches with measure
And unto God convert them.
