"As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us." Psalm 103:12      

East is entirely and completely removed from the west. God has completely removed our sins from us. With sin completely gone, we are freed from the guilt, punishment, and the dominion of sin. That is what God did for man. This is what the One sinned against did for those who did the sinning. That is why we sing "love so amazing so divine."      

We like to get away from things that trouble us and from scenes that bring sad memories. God in His love and mercy has removed sin far from us. No greater blessing can come to any person than to have their sin removed. The seared conscience finds rest, the troubled heart peace, in the knowledge of the removal of sin.      

Christian friends, Have you ever reflected upon the wonder of divine forgiveness? How terrible our transgressions must be in the sight of the holy and infinite Creator of the universe. Yet He sent His eternal Son to die on the cross for us. And when we accept the Savior by faith, His righteousness is put to our credit. We are received into God's family and made heirs with  Christ.  

What a wondrous message in God's Word                                                              My sins are blotted out,                                                                                    I know If I trust in His redeeming blood                                                                  My sins are blotted out, I know.
