Temptation can and often does come when we least suspect it. Misunderstanding the source and nature of temptation can cause us to miss out on the truth we need to know to defeat it in our lives. Missing those truths is a major cause of our doing over and over again the things that serve only to hurt our lives and the lives of those around us.
