I am sure that there are many fine people who work for United Airlines - the airline currently getting hammered online for dragging a paying customer off a flight that was oversold - and my sympathies are with them. Undoubtedly, however, the bigwigs at United Airlines touched a nerve for travelers whose nerves have been touched far too much in recent years by many airlines (but not WestJet I am happy to say!)
