Victoria Osteen's recent comments about worship - "When you come to church, when you worship Him, you're not doing it for God really. You're doing it for yourself, because that's what makes God happy" - are more than just bad theology. They are also another temptation for followers of Jesus everywhere to sin in how they react to Christians who have lost their way.

AGC West Superintendent, Rev. Russ Wilson, reminds us of the foundational cost of becoming a follower of Jesus.
Part of God's kingdom growing involves our waiting for him to work according to his timing and not despising the small things he does along the way.
The personal cost of God's rule in our lives is well worth it.
Christian fellowship is the sharing of the common experience of what Jesus has done and is doing in our lives.
