My decision to do so was re-affirmed by something I heard on the television tonight. I was listening to the news on a local TV channel while working at my computer. When the news ended the next show to come on was "Entertainment Tonight" out of Hollywood. After the beginning credits of the show the hosts combined to deliver this opening line:
The eyes of the world are focused on the devastating earthquake in Japan. We have the latest in minutes. But first, Charlie Sheen face to face in his own backyard with the L.A.P.D."
So, in the desire to be dignified and decent, the Cybersalt Digest breaks from our usual content today to pause, pray to Jesus for the Japanese people, and to reflect on what kind of humans God really wants us to be in light of the fragility of human life and the finality of eternity.
