Refrigerator Cam

Details
Published: 07 August 2006

Does the light in your refrigerator go out when you close the door?  Apparently it doesn't in this one.  Once the image loads, drag with your mouse to take a panoramic view inside this kitchen appliance.

By the way, it's a big file so it may take a little while to download.

Moon Map

Published: 07 August 2006

Fly me to the moon, let me play among the stars!  Wait - I need a map before I get there. I guess this one will do.

Check it out and don't forget to zoom right in as close as you can.  You'll see something that no binoculars or home telescope will ever show you.

Write on Water

Ok, there really isn't going to be much of an aplication for this other than to entertain people on vacation at Disneyland, Knottsberry Farm, Six Flags or some other amusement park, but just the same it's pretty cool.  Hey, you never know - it may drop the price of some old carnival rides enough to buy one for your backyard!

Race Rocks

Details
Published: 05 August 2006
A few miles up from where I live along the Straight of Juan de Fuca, you will find Race Rocks. Race Rocks is an island with a lighthouse, marine animal life, wonderful ocean views, passing cruise ships, ocean going freighters, and much, much more.

They have a great web page which features a number of things, amongst which are cameras that you can watch live and (in the case of camera 5) control from your computer.

Keep in mind that Race Rocks is near Victoria, British Columbia - on the West Coast of Canada where it is dark at night.

Online Kaleidoscope

Published: 04 August 2006
Remember having a kaleidoscope as a kid? Now you can make your own online.
If you are at work don't get hooked or you may end up looking for a new job!
Update:  The creator of the kaleidoscope I had featured here contacted me and asked me to remove it from my site.
It's still pretty cool and you can find it on his site at:
