Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

The forecast today is calling for a 70% chance of rain, which will not only be good for the grass but should give everything a nice wash from all the dust that's been drifting over from the dog park construction next door. Bring on the rain — it'll be nice to have a cool day and a break in the weather.

Today's video share is from the Slinger Slamfest 2026 — an end-of-night contest to see which driver can be first to drive their car up onto a moving trailer. It brought back memories of my own nights at the Speedway, where sometimes getting the race truck onto the trailer was a challenge — and it wasn't even moving.
