Sunday greetings everyone!

Today is a big one at Cybersalt World Headquarters. Susan and I are celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. We said our vows on August 23, 1986 (mustache and all, if the photo is any evidence), and here we are four decades later. We are grateful to God for all of His blessings and faithfulness over these past forty years.

Looking back at the video below stirs up a lot. It reminds us of the many dear people who stood with us that day and are no longer with us now. It also reminds us of all the people who fill our lives today, children and grandchildren, who didn’t even exist back in 1986. God has been faithful through every bit of it.

Today’s video share is a little different. It’s the video of our wedding service, captured off the old VHS tape, so the resolution isn’t quite as marvelous as we thought it was forty years ago. We were grateful to have the service recorded at all, which was still a fairly new thing in the wedding world back then. Fun fact: the cameraman accidentally bumped the pause button and didn’t record any of my vows. Rest assured, though, I did make them. Susan wasn’t the only one.
