Cybersalt News
Sunday greetings everyone!
Well, it turns out I did break my arm! X-rays confirmed a fracture on the head of my radial bone — not broken clean through, just cracked, which is the good news. The arm is in a sling for the next two to three weeks, and on Monday I meet with an orthopedic surgeon. My doctor says it's 99% likely the surgeon won't need to operate, so that is good news as well.
All that time assuming nothing was seriously wrong — and here we are. Them's the brakes — or in this case, the break. 😄
Through all of it, I am grateful, happy, and joyful in all the ways God is providing and is going to use this for good in my life.
Enjoy the rest of today's Digest.

Talking Clock
While proudly showing off his new apartment to friends, a college student led the way into the den.
"What is the big brass gong and hammer for?" one of his friends asked.
"That is the talking clock", the young man replied.
"How's it work?" the friend asked.
"Watch", the man said then proceeded to give the gong an ear shattering pound with the hammer. BONG!
Suddenly someone screamed from the other side of the wall "KNOCK IT OFF, YOU GOOBER! It's two AM!"

Consistency in Mentoring
An English teacher often wrote little notes on student essays. Often she worked late, and as the hours passed, her handwriting deteriorated.
One day a student came to her after class with an essay that had been returned. "I can't make out this comment you wrote on my paper," he said
The teacher took the paper and, after studying it, sheepishly replied,
"It says that you should write more legibly!"

Hocus-Pocus, My Sanity Has Disappeared
For over 70 years, I believed sanity was a very important part of a person's identity. Being sane enables one to be successful in life. Who doesn't want to be successful?
I've made it my business to focus on my sanity and make sure it's working just fine. Of course, I’m not sure how to build my sanity.
