Oh look, Chicken Thursday - 19d260!
The days are getting shorter at Cybersalt World Headquarters. A couple of times this past week I walked to the edge of the hill next to us to watch the sunset: a nice break from working in my downstairs office. The Bible says there is no sun or moon in Heaven (Revelation 21:23, Revelation 22:5) which means sunsets and sunrises are things only for this life. I know I won't miss them in Heaven because there will surely be Someone better who lights the place up (Jesus) but I am going to enjoy them while I have them just the same.
Today's video share shows a spectacular volcanic eruption. The thing that gets me is that anyone who lives near the camera that recorded this totally missed the good part because it took so long for the boom to get to them so they could look to see what had happened. I personally would find that to be a huge bummer!

Cow Horns
"Mister, why doesn't this cow have any horns?" asked the young lady from a nearby city on field trip to the country.
The farmer cocked his head for a moment, then began in a patient tone, "Well, ma'am, cattle can do a powerful lot of damage with horns. Sometimes we keep 'em trimmed down with a hacksaw. Other times we can fix up the young 'uns by puttin' a couple drops of acid where their horns would grow in, and that stops 'em cold. Still, there are some breeds of cattle that never grow horns. But the reason this cow don't have no horns, ma'am, is 'cause it's a horse."

A lot of women say their husbands never listen to them; I'm proud to say I've never heard my wife say that.
A Fruity Felony
I can't believe someone broke into my house and stole all of my fruit.
I am peachless.

Puzzling Bus Shelter Blunder
City officials in Mesa, Arizona, have mistakenly installed two bus shelters where no buses run.
The installation cost $19,000 at a time when the city is cutting its public transit budget to save money. The shelters were installed as part of a $4.6m improvement project finished about a year ago.
Although there is a bus service on part of the road, the vehicles turn before reaching the shelters. And even though the shelters have signs posted saying no buses pass by, people still wait.
"It slipped through all of us and didn't get caught until after the fact," said Ethos Kramer, a Mesa city spokesperson.

The Light Still Shines Through
But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.
(Proverbs 4:18)
Have you ever faced a time when life as you knew it was no longer the same? Testimonies that emerge after life-altering events are often the most compelling. Let us dive into a couple of powerful examples.
In her book One Light Still Shines, Marie Roberts Monville recounts the catastrophic events that took place in 2006, in an unexpected setting, a one-room Amish Schoolhouse. That is where Marie’s husband shot and killed five girls, seriously injuring five others, before turning the gun on himself, ending his own life.
