Cybersalt News

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!

red bull stalen rosGrandma Cybersalt's bike incident bruises and scrapes are healing nicely. Also in Cybersalt bike news, our youngest grandson (4 years-old) is now riding his bike without training wheels. Watching the video of him riding in the cul de sac in front of his home, reminded me of the day when I was a kid and how much my world instantly expanded once I could ride on my own. Sure, he won't be going too far alone, but it's still a leap in mobility that may not be surpassed until he get's his driver's license - which at the rate time seems to be passing may be after the weekend.!

Today's video share is fun to watch as friends try to navigate a Red Bull bicycle competition.

Shakey's Cure

A dark image of an empty bed with rumpled sheets at night.Shakey went to a psychiatrist.

"Doc," he said, "I`ve got trouble. Every time I get into bed, I think there`s somebody under it. I get under the bed, I think there`s somebody on top of it. Top, under, top, under.  .  .  you gotta help me, I`m going crazy!"

"Just put yourself in my hands for two years," said the shrink. "Come to me three times a week, and I`ll cure your fears."

"How much do you charge?"

"A hundred dollars per visit."

"I`ll sleep on it," said Shakey.

Six months later the doctor met Shakey on the street.  "Why didn`t you ever come to see me again?" asked the psychiatrist.

"For a hundred bucks a visit?  A bartender cured me for ten dollars."

"Is that so!  How?"

"He told me to cut the legs off the bed!"

Police Dog Obedience

AI generated image of a police dog complete with vest and ID.During a temporary shutdown of operations at a large plant, trained police dogs were hired to protect the building from vandalism. A company executive who was unaware of the new regime arrived at the plant early one morning.

As he was walking down the corridor to his office, he came face to face with one of the dogs, accompanied by his trainer.

The dog reacted to the presence of the stranger by baring his teeth and uttering a menacing growl. The executive froze to the spot. The trainer shouted in an authoritative tone the command: "Sit!"

The unnerved executive promptly sat down on the floor.

Rock of Ages

A painted green and yellow rock with the word - photo by Susan PageI walked along the waterfront trail, enjoying the rocks displayed along the pathway, which the neighbourhood children had painted. The works of art were colourful, creative, and, quite frankly, inspirational.

It got me thinking about rocks.
