Cybersalt News
Sunday greetings, everyone.
Today, different places around the world did or didn't turn their clocks back an hour from daylight savings time. Grandma Cybersalt and I did, which means we got an extra hour of sleep last night. There have been years where I used that extra hour to get more work done, but this year I actually used it to sleep because as I age it is increasingly important that be a standard use of my time.
Today's video share is something wonderful shared by Kris Kristofferson (who recently passed away.)

Sharing by Example
A mother was preparing pancakes for her sons, Kevin, 5, and Ryan, 3.
The boys began to argue over who would get the first pancake. Their mother saw the opportunity for a moral lesson. "If Jesus were sitting here, He would say, 'Let my brother have the first pancake. I can wait.'
Kevin turned to his younger brother and said, "Ryan, you be Jesus."

Walking Economy
A guy is walking down the street with his friend. He says to his friend, "I'm a walking economy."
His friend replies, "How's that?"
"It's like this -- my hair line is in recession, my stomach is a victim of inflation, and the combination of these factors is putting me into a deep depression."

Rancher's Bullish Security
A rancher applied for a loan at a bank. "How much do you want to borrow?" asked the loan interviewer.
"Twenty-five thousand dollars."
"All right, but you'll have to show security. How many bulls do you have on your ranch?"
"Two hundred."
"That should be enough security. The loan is approved."
Several months later the rancher returned to the bank to repay the loan.
"Here's your money," he declared, peeling off bills from a huge bankroll.
"Well, sir, let me congratulate you on your sudden prosperity," said the interviewer, eyeing the bankroll. "And for safety's sake, may I suggest you deposit that extra money in our bank?"
Staring at him coldly, the rancher asked, "How many bulls do YOU have?"

You Break It, You Fix It
Every once in a while, I hear or see something that reminds me of my father. He’s been gone for over 15 years, but his memory is still fresh in my mind.
His most famous saying that I remember was, “It’s better to ask for forgiveness than for permission.” He lived that to the very end of his life.
