Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
Here is an interesting question, Do babies swear? How you answer that depends on where you stand on the doctrine of original sin, the fallenness of mankind, and if the baby in question is one of your precious grandbabies or not! Ultimately, we will never know because none of us can speak "baby."
Why am I wondering about cussing infants? Well, today's video share may have swearing in it, but I can't tell because I don't speak the language of the people reacting to this volcano/lightning show. So just in case there is swearing in this, you should not watch this while holding a baby because eventually that baby is going to learn to swear in some language and I don't want to be held responsible!

Ironic Phone Call
A guy showed up at church with both of his ears burned.
His chum asked, "What happened to you?"
The guy replied, "I was ironing when the phone rang and I answered the iron."
"What happened to the other ear?"
"Well I had to call the doctor!"

That's when the Confederate general hollered, "Fire at will!"

Against All Odds
- photo by Susan PageI was intrigued by the movie, The Marilyn Bell Story, based on the story of her young life and her historic swim across Lake Ontario.
As a young girl, Marilyn struggled to find her place. To gain acceptance, she eventually chose the challenging sport of marathon swimming. With little encouragement from her family or friends, Marilyn began her training. With determination and a firm dedication to her sport rarely seen in one so young, Marilyn rose to the task even when challenged by her extremely demanding coach.
