Cybersalt News
Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
Grandma Cybersalt and I get to go the the airport tonight to be part of a crowd of people welcoming some newcomers to Canada. Another refugee family is restarting their life and this family is going to be doing it in our community! This is all happening after the family had to flee their homeland many years ago because they took a stand for their faith in Jesus. The group sponsoring and supporting them in this new beginning has also worked and waited for over 3 years to make this possible. God will bless them all!

Understanding the Signs
Over the years, my husband and I have usually managed to decode the cute but confusing gender signs sometimes put on restaurants' restroom doors (Buoys and Gulls, Laddies and Lassies, etc.), but every so often we get stumped.
Recently my husband Dave wandered off in search of the men's room and found himself confronted by two marked doors. One was labeled "Bronco," and the other was designated "Cactus."
Completely baffled, he stopped a restaurant employee passing by.
"Excuse me; I need to use the restroom," Dave said. Gesturing toward the doors, he asked, "Which one should I use?"
"Actually, we would prefer you to go there," the employee said, pointing to a door down the hall marked "Men."
"Bronco and Cactus are private dining rooms."

The World's Most-Used Lies:
+ It's a good thing you came in today. It's the last one we have.
+ You made it yourself? I would have never guessed.
+ Go ahead and tell me, I won't tell another soul.
+ It's delicious but I can't eat another bite.
+ The doctor will call you right back.
+ You don't look a day over 50.
+ Your baby is just beautiful.
+ Put the map away. I know where we're at.
+ Having a great time. Wish you were here!
