Oh look, Chicken Thursday - and May the fourth be with you!
I accidentally cut of the ending of Pastor Suneel Barkat's latest article on Sunday, so I have included it below again so everyone can easily find it to read the ending.
Today's video share shows a much easier way to move instead of packing up all your boxes, loading them in a truck, and then unpacking them in your new location.

Letters of Recommendation
If you have to write a "letter of recommendation" for a fired employee, here are a few suggested phrases:
-For the chronically absent:
"A man like him is hard to find."
"It seemed her career was just taking off."
-For the office drunk:
"I feel his real talent is wasted here."
"We generally found him loaded with work to do."
"Every hour with him was a happy hour."
-For an employee with no ambition:
"He could not care less about the number of hours he had to put in."
"You would indeed be fortunate to get this person to work for you."
-For an employee who is so unproductive that the job is better left unfilled:
"I can assure you that no person would be better for the job."
-For an employee who is not worth further consideration as a job candidate:
"I would urge you to waste no time in making this candidate an offer of employment."
"All in all, I cannot say enough good things about this candidate or recommend him too highly."
-For a stupid employee:
"There is nothing you can teach a man like him."
"I most enthusiastically recommend this candidate with no qualifications whatsoever."
-For a dishonest employee:
"Her true ability was deceiving."
"He's an unbelievable worker."

Auditor
As a sales rep for a publisher of accounting reference materials, I was talking to a customer about a guide to assist with preparing for an audit.
The way she described their organization led me to believe they might have an internal audit department.
I asked, "Do you have an in-house auditor?"
"No," she answered. "We have an outhouse auditor."
It was almost three minutes before either of us could stop laughing and continue our conversation.
Quote #2178
"Growth is the great separator between those who succeed and those who do not. When I see a person beginning to separate themselves from the pack, it's almost always due to personal growth."

Child Leashes
While watching my grandson's baseball game, I saw a young mother with her toddler on one of those child leashes.
She was talking with another mom about an incident that happened earlier that morning.
Her little chihuahua was sick, and she had raised people's eyes as she walked into the vet's office with her dog in her arms and her child on a leash.
All I could think was, "What's wrong with this picture!"

What Would My Life Be Without a Cookie
This past week was about as crazy as they get. When I think it can't get any crazier, somebody hears me and makes it crazier just for me.
One morning I had to go across town to get some office supplies and other things. I try to ensure that when I go, it's for several things, not just one.

Silence of God
When we look at the nature of God, we come to know that He is a loving God and always keeps his fellowship with human beings because He created them in His own image. Man has the skill to speak, listen, and time to adopt silence.
What will happen when God is silent in your life?
Today, I want to share my anguish in my experience of God’s silence in my life at various times.
