Cybersalt News
Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
Thank you for your kind words and suggestions after I shared about my probable ulcer a few weeks back. I have not had any further problems since I started taking the medication. I am to take it daily for 60 days and will be following up with my doctor. It's nice to not have the added stress of falling behind in my work because of the effects of stress!
To reduce stress, I am working on some of the constantly spinning brain reminders of what I need to catch up on. For instance, I have hired my first employee. While hiring someone was a first for me, and as such came with its own stress, it is now working out really well! The business side of Cybersalt can now grow, which it needs to do, without all the work falling on me. Speaking of which, if you have a website that needs a refresh, or doesn't work well on mobile devices, or have some other need in the online world, email me at tim@cybersalt.com and let's talk!
Another thing I am doing has been making progress on my quest to catch up on my emails and have a zero inbox. Proof of my march to success is the image in today's news. Thanks to M. Robertson who share it with me on November, 16, 2019. Today's PearlyGates item also came from an old email from B Black. Now, my inbox is not that bad - I have already dealt with emails from 2020!
Today's video share is of some oddly satisfying manufacturing processes. It's really fascinating to see how some things are made!

Time Off
Two factory workers were talking. "I know how to get some time off from work," said the man.
"How do you think you will do that?" said the other. He proceeded to show her...by climbing up to the rafters, and hanging upside down.
The boss walked in, saw the worker hanging from the ceiling, and asked him what on earth he was doing?
"I'm a light bulb" answered the guy.
"I think you need some time off," said the boss. So, the man jumped down and walked out of the factory.
The second worker began walking out too.
The boss asked her where did she think she was going?
"Home. I can't work in the dark."

Political Flipper
Once upon a time, when seals had tremendous political clout, Dianne Feinstein (the former mayor of San Francisco, now Senator) was running for governor. An opposing candidate had a nightmare in which the ex-mayor was victorious in the election, thanks to the convincing campaigning of some savvy seals.
When the loser awoke, he saw a seal seated by his windowsill and sang out to it: "You picked a Feinstein to lead me, you seal!"

Quote #2068
Please remember:
- your job is the dream of the unemployed,
- your house is the dream of the homeless,
- your smile is the dream of the depressed,
- your health is the dream of those who are sick.
Find something to be grateful for.

Getting What You Want
We were driving our three-year-old son to his Grandma's home when we stopped at a store. Once inside, our son decided he wanted one of those large gumballs.
I told him he couldn't have one, and he began to pout. I leaned over to him and said, "This is a fact of life: You don't always get everything you want."
"I know," he replied. "Just don't tell Gramma."
