Cybersalt News
Sunday greetings everyone!
Thank you for your feedback and comments about the new Cybersalt Digest newsletter template! Please keep them coming as you have ideas. You may notice a few changes in today's mailing, which include:
- a darker colour for the titles
- a nicer divider between the content items
- adjusted spacing between the content items
Also of note:
- Today's illustration is being rerun today because I had something set incorrectly and the whole item was not showing.
- The newsletter is not displaying properly in Microsoft Outlook. I am looking for a fix for this.
- YouTube videos are handled differently in this updated system. As you will see below, the image for clicking to view a video is much smaller. I may be able to find a way around this, but that may take a while to figure out.
Today's video share features a 93 year-old who still has a great singing voice. It was originally shared with me on FaceBook, but I tracked it down on YouTube so I could include it here.
Enjoy the rest of today's mailing!

First Day
Little Johnny was thrilled when his turn came to enter kindergarten. To make sure he had plenty of time to eat breakfast and get ready on the first day, his mother woke everybody up early -- so early that it was still dark.
After looking outside Little Johnny went down the hall and found his mother dressing in the bedroom. He looked so troubled that his mother asked, "What's wrong?" mustering as much cheerfulness into her voice as she could at that hour. "This is your big day!"
Little Johnny blurted, "You didn't tell me I was going to night school."

Quote #1942

"Duty is the handmaiden of love and honor. It is doing that which is right rather than that which is convenient. In fact, failure of duty generally amputates somebody else's right. Duty recognizes a cause greater than one's self. As men and as fathers we have a duty before God and man to do what is right, honorable, and sacrificial."

A Strong Woman vs A Woman of Strength
A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape,
but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape...
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything,
but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear...
A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her,
but a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone...
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future;
a woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be God's blessings and capitalizes on them...
A strong woman walks sure footedly,
but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls...
A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face,
but a woman of strength wears grace...
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey,
but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong.

Featured Illustrations are items well suited for illustrating or inspiring a point in a sermon, speech, or devotional. Funny, moving, or perhaps even graphic, the point of them is the point you make with them.
