Hello everybody. Today I’m going to talk about memorizing 52 Bible verses for men. It’s a challenge we have going on at our church. There’s one verse per week for 52 weeks.

The very first one says, “Then the Lord formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being.” That is Genesis 2:7.Week1

here’s a devotion, and then there are some questions. The questions are: When was the last time you created something? What is your primary calling and purpose? And what are three goals that you’re going after this year?

Well, even before I started reading this, I realized I’m creative. Well, I think I am anyway. And I’d like to do something special with this because, number one, I’d like to get closer to God, memorize His word. Also, I’d like to do something creative.

I like music and I like to write songs and play instruments, etc. And I’m not that great at my craft, but I’d like to make this an experience for myself so that I can create something, so that I can practice two things: practice my memory, practice my music, and hopefully I can honor God with my work.

So, when was the last time I created something? I create all the time, but this time is going to be specific to this book, specific to each one of these verses.

My primary calling and purpose—well, I am pretty sure that God wants me to be in service for Him. So, let’s hope that this serves Him.

Number three: what are three goals that you’re going after this year? One, memorize the word. Two, make a song for each verse each week. And three, publish it on YouTube so that you can enjoy what I have.

Sometimes it’s going to be in draft form, where maybe the idea didn’t come together that week or whatever. But I’m going to try to get something each week as I am memorizing the word and as I am creating new songs.

In closing, I’d like to leave you with the new song for verse number one:

Then the Lord formed a man from the dust of the ground, and he breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being. Genesis 2:7.
