"In all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us."
- Romans 8:37
I found this story about a family in which three children died of
diphtheria in less than a week. It was a crushing blow. Only one child
was saved. Yet when Sunday came, the parents and the child went to
Sunday school and church. The mother taught her class of girls as

"Dad", he said, "they really believe it, don't they?" "Believe what?" the father asked. "Why, the whole big thing," was the son's reply; "all of it-- the love of God--the resurrection--life everlasting." Of course, answered the father, "all Christians believe it." "Not that way," replied the boy. As I read the story I marveled at the understanding of the boy, who had a great measure of faith and trust in our blessed Redeemer.
Christian friends, are circumstances against you? Have hardships come? Is there suffering? Debt? Drought? Remember, God's love for you is strong as ever. He will not desert you. He gives His strength. Receive it and He'll make you a super-conqueror.
The Prince of Peace is passing by,
The mighty God to me,
The conquering Christ, and in His strength
I shall victorious be.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY- Christ died to save us; He now lives to keep us.
