Come with me to the Holy Week events as our Lord suffered and died that He might redeem mankind--including the high school teen whose reign of terror resulted in the murder of 9 persons, along with others critically ill. He, our Lord, has been there - He knows, understands and feels our own personal pain--and He's there with you right now.
The Crime - Monday's Terror
Terror filled the hearts of faculty and students as a young teen went beserk, shooting at random a security officer, a teacher, and his classmates. And terror, too, filled the hearts of the disciples as they fled from those who sought to wound and kill their Savior.
Murder? Grief? Tears? Pain? It's Holy Week--He understands and suffered for us all.

The Cross - Friday's Toll
The teen allegedly asked a student, "Do you believe in God?" and subsequently shot him. Jesus Christ, hanging on a Cross between two criminals, asked His Father, "Why have You forsaken me?" He watched His grieving mother, beneath the Cross, and lovingly gave her to the care of another.
Murder? Grief? Tears? Pain? It's Holy Week--He understands and died for us all.
The Christ - Sunday's Triumph
The Roman guards slept as the King of Life arose from the grave to live forevermore. He lives to comfort us in our sorrow and grief, to bring peace and love beyond human understanding into the hurting heart.
Murder? Grief? Tears? Pain? It's Holy Week--He understands and lives for us all.
The "Murder Mystery of Life" goes beyond Columbine, beyond Red Lake and beyond the place where you live. The murderman would seek to steal, kill and destroy us all. But it's neither final nor fatal as we trust in our Lord. It allows He who endured the crime and the Cross to conquer forevermore the enemy of all time.
Our Lord lives--and He lives to forgive the sinner, to comfort the saint, and to love us all. May He bring peace and comfort to YOUR heart, whatever "murder mystery" your foe is attempting in your life. It's a mystery no more - Christ arose! We have a triumphant risen Lord who's "been there, done that" and conquered it all.
Remember? It's Holy Week- He understands and lives for us all!
