Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
Grandma Cybersalt and I had a fun time watching the last flight of the Martin Mars water bomber, which I told you about last Sunday. Unfortunately there was another error between my keyboard and my seat and I didn't update the shared video link. I have fixed it in last week's news and you can watch that news story by clicking here.

Today, Grandma Cybersalt and I are going to take a trip down memory lane (all the way back to her childhood) and go watch the Hawaii Martin Mars water bomber land at the end of its last flight. Susan was born and raised in Port Alberni, British Columbia, where this plane (and a sister to it) were based on a nearby lake. Both of us have memories of hearing its pounding engines, thundering as it took off and out of the Alberni Valley on the way to fight a wild fire somewhere.

Oh look, Chicken Thursday!
Grandma Susan and I were invited out for a dinner cruise last night. Our friends live on a boat and took us out to a small nearby island where we then anchored and enjoyed a snack dinner of different crackers, cheese, and other yummy food. My favourite was a smoked gouda that I ate so much of that one might say I went charcuterie overboard!
Today's video share is an amazing encounter with blue whales. A lot of people would blubber if they were feeling blue, but blue whales actually feel pretty good when they blubber a lot!

Remember how I have been working on emptying my email inbox? Well, I just discovered that emails sent in reply to Cybersalt Digests have not been getting downloaded since May of 2023! So I have even more catching up to do, lol!
