But for Kasey Kahne driving the #9 Dodge, it was an awesome night. An awesome car and awesome driving plus awesome pit stops equals a winning night. It was obvious that Ray Evernham, over of the winning car, was rightfully pleased with his youthful driver.
Tony Stewart in the #20 Home Depot Chevrolet was the car Kasey had to race to win. Following the checkered flag, Tony could be seen congratulating Kasey on his perfect night. And the grandstands filled with Kasey Kahne red let their enjoyment be known when they erupted with giant applause.
